    From July 16 to 17, the first "Walk the Silk Road" and "Empower the Silk Road" activities of the Silk Road Workshop Platform were successfully held in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. The Deputy Prime Minister of the State government of Sarawak, Malaysia, Shen GUI Xian, attended the ceremony with a number of leaders of the Sarawak People's United Party, local councillors of the Indigenous Conservative United Party and relevant officials. The working group of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Beijing Vocational College of Electronic Science and Technology, Beijing Commercial School, Guizhou Tongren Vocational and Technical College, Beijing Xianglong Asset Management Co., LTD., Beijing Daming Eyeglasses Co., LTD., and Generation Z vocational education Cloud Platform participated in the activity.

    On the 16th, nearly 1,000 Kuching people rushed to the headquarters of the United People's Party and the Tuan Pok Party's Wentan fishing Village auditorium to receive free medical and optometrition services arranged by domestic vocational colleges and enterprises, and happily received food and oil packages donated by the Friends of the Malaysian Silk Road Club. The school also installed hundreds of solar street lights for the local poor areas, lighting up the countryside for the convenience of the people, and won the praise of the public. Shen Guixian said that the Silk Road Workshop activities go deep into the grassroots, directly serve the people, and further enrich the connotation and form of inter-party exchanges, and look forward to more Silk Road workshops entering Malaysia.

    On the 17th, the "Empowering Silk Road" event and vocational Education cooperation Matchmaking meeting was held at Sarawak Technical College. The person in charge of the Gen Z vocational Education Cloud Platform gave a detailed introduction to the foreign side about the cloud platform, and the three Chinese institutions had in-depth exchanges with Sarawak Institute of Technology and i-CATS University on the next step of vocational education exchanges and cooperation.

    On the 18th, Silk Road Workshop will enter Kuala Lumpur to continue to hold livelihood activities and connect vocational education cooperation.

    This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. In response to the concerns of political parties in Southeast Asia and South Asia, the International Department of the CPC Central Committee launched a new platform for the Silk Road Workshop. It aims to carry out more livelihood projects through inter-party channels, continuously strengthen ties with political parties in Southeast Asia and South Asia, promote the development of inter-state relations, and benefit the people of countries along the "Belt and Road".
