On Dec. 23, our college and Nepal Anigo Association held an online signing ceremony of "Agricultural Technology Training Agreement". Mr. Tham, the president of Nepal Anigo Association, and Mr. Fan Shuangxi, the deputy secretary of the party committee and president of the college, attended the ceremony. The ceremony was attended by the relevant personnel of the Nepalese Anigo Association, and comrades in charge of relevant departments and faculties of the college. Li Junying, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President, presided over the ceremony.
The two sides displayed the signed agreement on agricultural technology training
Comrade Fan Shuangxi introduced the characteristics of the college, international cooperation and exchange. It was pointed out that China and Nepal are connected by mountains and water and have a history of friendly exchanges for thousands of years.In 2019, President Xi Jinping emphasized that China and Nepal should build an all-round cooperation pattern, carry out the construction of a three-dimensional interconnection network across the Himalaya and expand exchanges and cooperation in various fields. The Anigo Association of Nepal has been committed to promoting cultural exchanges and friendly relations between China and Nepal for many years, and is a purveyor and practitioner of Sino-Nepalese friendship in the new era. The signing of the agreement on agricultural technology training between the Institute and the Association marks the beginning of a new chapter in the partnership between the two sides. We are willing to seize the opportunity to contribute to the agricultural vocational education exchange between China and Nepal through the construction of "One Belt, One Road".
President Thame expressed his pleasure to sign this cooperation agreement. The Association is composed of graduates from Nepal who have studied in China and are grateful to China. The activities carried out by the association are all conducive to improving the lives of Nepalese people and deepening the legacy of friendly relations between China and Nepal. This cooperation is to carry out skills training for agricultural practitioners, which is in line with the purpose of the Anigo Association. Although it is the first time for the Anigo Association to carry out cooperation in the field of agriculture, the Association will actively use its own resources and communicate and cooperate with relevant departments to ensure the smooth implementation of agricultural technology training.
