This course is aligned with the professional role of a tea artist, aiming to enhance occupational competence, with the goals of teaching tea skills, promoting tea etiquette, and spreading tea culture. It imparts cultural knowledge through eight key areas—cultural transmission, understanding etiquette, discerning water quality, recognizing tea utensils, evaluating tea leaves, practicing tea brewing, performing tea art, and understanding service—cultivates professional qualities, emphasizes skill operation, and aims to train technical professionals for the tea and tourism industries who meet the national intermediate tea artist skill standards and possess good professional qualities.

What does this course cover?
China is the homeland of tea, and the art of tea is a treasure of Chinese tea culture. Tea art includes interpreting tea culture, applying tea etiquette, appreciating and collecting tea leaves, skills in brewing and tasting tea, and creating a proper tea-tasting environment. It is a unique cultural phenomenon formed in tea-drinking activities. This course is aligned with the professional role of a tea artist, aiming to enhance professional competence. Its goals are to teach tea-making skills, promote tea etiquette, and spread tea culture. The course imparts cultural knowledge and nurtures professional qualities through eight main aspects: transmitting culture, understanding etiquette, discerning water, recognizing tea utensils, evaluating tea leaves, practicing tea brewing, performing tea art, and understanding service. It emphasizes practical skills, preparing students for careers in the tea industry, tourism industry, and other related sectors, cultivating skilled professionals who meet the national intermediate-level tea artist standards and possess good professional qualities.

What will you gain?
By learning this course, learners will deepen their understanding of Chinese tea culture, master brewing skills for the six major tea categories, aesthetically present tea art demonstrations, and appropriately apply tea service etiquette and various tea rituals. They will learn to correctly and orderly serve tea guests and guide tea and snack consumption. Throughout the learning process, students will cultivate and practice the core socialist values, strengthen recognition of professional ethics as a tea artist, develop correct worldviews, establish patriotism, cultural confidence, and professional self-confidence, and enhance their sense of responsibility, integrity, teamwork, innovation, and etiquette.
