New-type productivity is a form of productivity driven primarily by technological innovation. It breaks away from traditional growth paths and meets the requirements of high-quality development. In the digital age, it is more integrated and embodies new connotations. Sensors are not just components; they are a key core and technological foundation for the development of emerging fields such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence.
Course introduction Course chapter
The course "Mechatronics" is a platform course for the mechatronics professional group, with a total of 52 class hours and 4 credits. Given the wide application and frequent updates of sensor systems in intelligent manufacturing, as well as the many related knowledge points, a school-industry-enterprise course development team led by vocational education experts and consisting of enterprise engineers and school professional teachers was formed. The course is closely aligned with the job requirements of intelligent manufacturing engineering technicians, benchmarked against the skill competition projects "Mechatronics Equipment Assembly and Debugging" and "CNC Machine Tool Adjustment and Maintenance," and integrates the vocational skill level requirements of intermediate maintenance electricians and industrial sensor integration applications. The course aims to broaden students' professional capabilities by constructing four progressive real-world enterprise projects, ranging from daily life to production, covering common scenarios of sensor systems.

What will you gain?
By studying this course, you will learn the definition, parameters, characteristics, and commonly used detection circuits of sensors, as well as the working principles and basic application methods of seven major types of sensors commonly used in industrial production and daily life. You will gain an understanding of sensors commonly used in smart homes and industrial production and be able to perform basic detection methods for common parameters. Additionally, this course aims to help you develop the ability to obtain, process, and present technical information using information technology, comply with national standards, and use technical documentation; cultivate good teamwork skills and professional ethics; and experience pride in contributing to a technologically strong country through the completion of various projects.

Who is this course suitable for?
This course can be applied in vocational colleges for programs such as Mechatronics Technology, CNC Technology, Industrial Robot Application Technology, Electrical Automation, Intelligent Manufacturing, and other related majors. It can also serve as a self-study or training material for personnel in related industries.
